Andrew Bosco, Owen Bristol and Eli Gelser first came together in the winter of 2011. The Heathens formed officially in 2013. The trio played and wrote music together over the next two years until 2015 when Andrew departed from the group. The Heathens remained on hiatus until 2017 when they started performing and recording with a new line up.
